We are actively seeking Assistant Project Managers to join our growing company and engineering team. As an Assistant PM, you will help us strengthen our existing customer relationships and execute our projects in the Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia Markets.
We are looking for a Assistant Project Manager who will organize a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. Your duties will include ensuring that all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. Training will be provided, and there is a pathway to growth within the company!
Assistant Project Manager responsibilities are:
Directly assist our team of seasoned Project Managers with all administrative tasks to include:
Work together with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
Define needed resources, such as manpower, equipment and materials, from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Set terms with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
Get permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
Develop plans for all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Prepare equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
Project submittals and schedules
Issuing purchase orders
Analyze progress and submit detailed reports
Experience with construction procedures and material and project management principles
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Good practical experience with MS Office and construction or project management software
Strong communication skills
Good team player and leadership skills
